Fusion Products is a leading manufacturer for commercial sign and retail fixtures whose clients range from mom and pop shops across the United States to large retail brands. They needed a new website that would not only showcase their products and customization services but also sell their stock products as well. The project involved creating a website and user experience that complements the company’s focus on quality, reliability, and ability to scale orders to fit any company's needs.
To assist in the design process, Spin Group reached out to Milwaukee based marketing and advertising agency Her & Himsel.
This project began with a discussion on what Fusion Products wanted their new website to feature and ways the user could experience viewing and ordering the products the company offers. The result was dividing the services the company offers with a focus on products for sale, custom made products and a gallery of past projects demonstrating Fusion Products ability to create any sign visitors have in mind.
When first visiting the homepage of the website, the user is greeted by a lifestyle image of a retail sign and a brief statement about Fusion Products main focus. From here, each section of the homepage highlights a different aspect of the company through thoughtful copy and images. This helps educate the customer about Fusion Products and the range of items for sale without pressure to make a purchase.
Since Fusion Products main focus is selling commercial sign and retail fixtures, Product Categories is the first section in the navigation. With the help of Fusion Products, we divided the product offerings into six sections. This provides a simple path for visitors to research and find their desired product.
Throughout the Product Categories section, the user has a clear direction on where they are and where to go in their ordering experience. Multiple images give a clear picture of what they are ordering along with the different sizes and finishes of each product.
Fusion wanted a seamless transition when it came to ordering products with accessories. To do this, Spin Group designed the product accessories to appear with the selection of a product. Having the selection of accessories on the same page as the featured product removes the guesswork of figuring out which products are compatible with certain accessories.
Spin Group is proud of how the final website for Fusion Products turned out. The navigation and user experience will support past and future clients for years to come.
